The National Youth Awards came off, and guess what? Yes! We won!

UWI Student Endeavours, amongst a range of large and well accomplished Youth Organisations, won a Youth Award in the category  Community Based Youth Organisation.

The Management Committee sends congratulations to all members of UWISE. We congratulate all volunteers who participated in Campus Volunteer day, every student who participated in Solidarity Week, those who participated in RYS projects on a UWISE bill, and every other student who participated in any UWISE project, and even those who could not, but wished us well.

To our sponsors especially, we offer you our heartfelt thanks for being there with us and for us when we needed your help. It is through this assistance that this award was possible. It is through this assistance that we have been able to do this work that we so love, and it is through this that UWISE can survive. Again, we say Thank You!

Congratulations From Our President
On behalf of the President, Prunella Mungroo, congratulations and best wishes also goes out to the present and past memers of our Management Committee. Special congratulations once more, to Prior Joseph who won an award last year, and Daryl Steele who was a finalist last year. these two men are past members of the Committee, and have served UWISE well. To our present members of the committee, blessings and thanks go out, and we still have much to do.

Thanks again, congratulations to you all. This is once more a show that nothing can stop the potential of a University student or student organisation to achieve. See you on campus in September!
