UWISE is a developmental organisation at UWI St. Augustine Campus, dedicated to the upliftment of the members of our student body. Our activities are generally organized to achieve these goals. Though diverse, each project or activity fits into three main areas of development: 

• Religious and Community Based Activities

• Educational and Academic Activities

• Social and Sporting Activities

Leadership
UWISE is run by a “Management Committee”, which has two tiers of leaders. The executive is responsible for the leadership and guidance of the organisation, as well as all its financial matters. The project officers are tasked with teh responsibility to plan, finance, staff and organise all activities that fall under their purview.

Activities
Each project or activity within UWISE is given a title for easy recognition. Most projects also have an independent leadership structure to ensure their success. More information can be found by clicking on "projects" in the site navigation menu.

Last year, UWISE held a position on the government appointed National Youth Council Task Force. The task force must ensure the establishment and formation of a National Youth Council by the end of 2007. This is why we host a page with information about the National Youth Council.
