For years students at St. Augustine campus have longed for some means by which updated news can be spread, or to find a way to speak to masses of students. This problem is soon coming to an end. UWISE has launched its latest student project - a news website entitled WISDom (meaning West Indian Students' Domain).
WISDom is run by an able-bodied volunteer staff, led by Janelle Duke, its Editor-in-Chief.She is unstinting in her peruit of excellence, especially to ensure that the content lives up to the name of the platform. Feel free to share your news, opinions, and even research or academic papers. While we have a staff, WISDom will publish any news-worthy or interesting content that fits into a paradigm of intelligent reader friendly content.
Letters to the editor can also be sent to

UWISE has conceived a day where students can go out into the national community to work side by side with other volunteers, contributing to some tangible development. This concept came together as our latest project - one which we are very proud of, and one which we know students will be enriched by, while learning about volunteer work.
This is the fourth year of CVD, and we are as excited about it as those who would have participated in it in the past. Registration is now open. You can proceed to the registration page, to sign up for a project of your choice. If you can't make it, no problem. We'll be updating our website regularly with information on volunteer projects. We won't leave you out! Here are some pictures of projects in the past. Campus Volunteer Day 2009
